The ability to influence how people think, which is the way I define leadership, is a powerful skill, but if you use it too often it can overwhelm people and turn them off.
Don’t feel compelled to always add suggestions and comments and direction and feedback in every single situation and conversation you find yourself in. Be very selective as to when you ask questions and offer an idea and paint a vision of success.
If you overdo it, you will lose your impact in every situation.
Most of the time just be okay with observing and not adding any value. Be okay with letting other people make decisions without any input from you. Let other people lead and don’t interrupt them.
