Read Books

When a person writes a business book or a helpful book on a specific topic or a biography or an autobiography, he or she has distilled years worth of learning down to a few hundred pages which are further honed and edited. You can access that practical wisdom. It only requires one thing on your part: read the pages!

in business it’s easy to get very busy. It’s also easy to say you’re too busy to read. If you fall into that trap, you will miss out on one of the most efficient and effective ways to improve your career and your impact on results.

Buy a book. Read it for three weeks. Take notes on what you learn. Tweak the best ideas for your work situation. Apply them at work. Make them better and more useful as you move ahead.
